The performance artist will stage a site-specific exhibition with audience participation in the former Jesuit church at Kunstverein Neuhausen e.V. The audience will be challenged by Christian Falsnaes’ participatory exhibition formats and performances, visibly overcoming their inhibitions. Christian Falsnaes creates chorographical instructions in the exhibition space using video and audio installations. The artist often takes on the role of choreographer and animator himself or assigns this role to visitors, who then become participants in his art.

The performances, which are scripted but often surprising for the participants, are filmed and transposed into video installations. Thus the work, created in collaboration with the audience, becomes an important element of the exhibition itself. Afterwards, an adapted version of the exhibition will be presented in the new Kunsthalle Mannheim building.
