The theme exhibition highlights for the first time the dramatic influence of the economy on art through an international comparison and the juxtaposition of two epochs: The reflection of economic phenomena in the 1920s and 30s in Germany, the USA, and the Soviet Union will be juxtaposed to contemporary artistic positions.
